Knowledge Base

  • Students enrolled in our massage classes will become familiar with business principles and practices, client/practitioner relationships, and medications.
  • All students will receive training in CPR and First Aid.
  • Our students will graduate with all the tools they need to become licensed by the Pennsylvania State Board of Massage Therapy
  • Students will complete a minimum of 600 hours of study

The goal of The Academy of Massage Therapy and Bodyworks is to ensure that all of our students graduate with the knowledge and tools necessary to have a long and rewarding career as a massage therapist.

FAQ

Like any other school we have certain enrollment periods and class starting times throughout the year. Unfortunately we can’t have students starting massage classes at random times. If enrollment is near the beginning of our class starting date we may consider letting you begin classes immediately if we feel there’s adequate time to catch up.

The Academy of Massage Therapy and Bodyworks offers a variety of payment options and financial aid programs. Please contact our admissions staff to inquire for more details regarding your situation and needs.

The Academy of Massage Therapy and Bodyworks is licensed by the Pennsylvania State Board of Privately Licensed Schools to educate and train individuals who wish to enter a career in massage therapy.

Students will receive hands on practice in Swedish and Therapeutic Massage and become familiar with other modalities such as Sports Massage, Reflexology, Pregnancy Massage, and Medical Massage.
